Washable dog bed for large dogs

Cosy Oxford Dog Mattress Bed For Big Dogs

Picture your dog stretching out, then curling up happily on this soft mattress-style dog bed, settling into a deep, cosy relaxation after a long day of walks, zoomies and guarding the sofa. This flat, padded bed quickly becomes their own little sanctuary, a quiet spot to properly switch off.

You get the quiet satisfaction of knowing your dog has a dedicated space that feels like their own, not just somewhere to crash. Give them a truly restful sleep with this comfy dog bed that blends comfort, practicality and simple style. At BigDog Accessories™, we focus on kit that can genuinely cope with larger breeds, not just look good in the living room.

Why big dogs love this mattress bed

• Oxford fabric outer for a robust, hard-wearing finish that stands up to muddy paws, shedding and everyday use.
• Ergonomic carry handle so you can easily move the bed from room to room, take it in the car or use it as a dog travel bed for weekends away.
• Anti-slip base helps keep the bed in place on tiles, laminate or wooden floors, even when your dog flops down like a sack of potatoes.

The low-profile design is especially helpful for large and heavy dogs, as they can simply step on and off without having to jump or climb. Ideal for older dogs, giant breeds and big dogs who like to sprawl rather than curl up in a basket.

Choosing the right size

To help you pick the best fit, measure your dog from nose to base of tail while they are lying down comfortably, then add a little extra room so they can stretch out fully.

• Size S - 70 x 40 x 6 cm: suitable for smaller dogs or as a comfy topper inside a crate or on a bench.
• Size M - 85 x 55 x 8 cm: good for medium to large dogs, or as a day bed in the living room or kitchen.
• Size L - 105 x 65 x 8 cm: generous space for big breeds to lie flat, change position and really relax.

Whether you use it as their main sleeping spot or as a portable rest area, this oxford-fabric mattress gives your dog a familiar place to unwind. As a UK shop dedicated to large dogs and big breeds, we chose this design for its mix of durability, stability and proper stretched-out comfort.
