Turtle snuffle mat for dogs

Snuffle mat for dogs - a tortoise-shaped brain game for big dogs

Let your big lad or lass turn snack time into a proper adventure with this clever snuffle mat for dogs, shaped like a cheeky tortoise. It’s not just a cute bit of fluff - it’s a brilliant way to slow down fast eaters, keep a busy brain busy, and give your big dog something properly satisfying to do. Perfect for those days when they’re bored, restless, or just need a bit of quiet time with their nose to the ground.

At BigDog Accessories™, we’re all about gear that actually works for large breeds. This isn’t some tiny mat made for lapdogs - it’s a proper-sized snuffle mat for dogs, big enough to hide a good handful of kibble or treats and keep a husky, lab, or other big breed sniffing and searching for ages.

Why your big dog will love this snuffle mat

Dogs are natural foragers at heart, and this tortoise snuffle mat taps right into that instinct. Instead of gobbling everything in two seconds flat, your dog gets to use their nose, paws, and brain to find hidden bits. It’s engaging, absorbing, and a brilliant way to add a bit of mental exercise to their day - especially useful on rainy days indoors.

• Generous size (52 x 71 cm) - ideal for large dogs and strong snufflers
• Made from durable nylon and soft felt - tough enough for enthusiastic paws
• Easy to fill with dry food, treats or kibble for a long, slow snack session
• Machine washable at 30°C - simple to keep clean after muddy muzzles and slobbery noses
• Non-slip base helps it stay put on most floor surfaces

More than just a pretty tortoise

Yes, it’s undeniably cute - a cheeky tortoise design that’ll raise a smile every time you see it. But behind the charm is a proper dog puzzle that encourages natural behaviour, reduces boredom, and gives over-excited dogs something to focus on. It’s a great tool for training, settling, or just giving your big dog a bit of gentle, nose-led downtime.

Whether you’re looking for a slow, mindful way to feed part of their daily ration or a fun distraction on a rainy afternoon, this snuffle mat for dogs is a simple, effective choice. And because it’s made with larger breeds in mind, you won’t be wrestling with a tiny mat that gets buried under a giant paw in seconds.

At BigDog Accessories™ we focus on big dogs and huskies - so everything we stock is chosen for size, strength, and serious snuffling.
