Snuffle ball for dogs

Interactive Snuffle Ball Toy For Curious Dogs

This clever interactive snuffle ball is designed to spark your big dog’s curiosity and keep that brilliant nose busy. Shaped to roll, wobble and rustle, it turns treat time into a fun little mission rather than a two‑second snack.

Simply tuck your dog’s favourite treats or kibble into the soft fabric strips, roll them back into the ball, then let your four‑legged detective get to work. Every push, sniff and nudge encourages natural foraging behaviour and keeps your dog mentally engaged.

Fun, training and calm in one toy

Beyond pure entertainment, this ball toy for dogs is a very handy helper for everyday training. Use it as a special reward when your dog nails a recall, settles on their bed, or calmly ignores that tempting pigeon in the park. The longer sniffing time helps your dog come back down to earth and relax after exciting moments.

It is particularly useful for:

• Keeping energetic large breeds busy indoors on rainy days
• Giving dogs a simple, absorbing sniffing task
• Making mealtimes more interesting for dogs who eat too fast
• Adding a bit of fun to basic obedience and nosework games

Soft, durable and made for big snoots

At BigDog Accessories™, we specialise in toys and gear that can actually cope with life alongside large dogs and huskies, not just tiny teacup pups. This ball is soft on the mouth, but built with sturdier materials to handle enthusiastic play from bigger breeds.

• Material: Nylon and felt for a soft yet durable finish
• Diameter: 13 cm, ideal for medium and large dogs to roll, carry and nuzzle

The texture of the fabric strips gives your dog plenty to sniff through and nudge about, without being harsh on gums or teeth. As with any tough dog toy for large breeds, supervised play is recommended, especially if your dog is a serious chewer.

How to use your snuffle ball

• Hide small treats or pieces of kibble deep inside the fabric strips
• Place the ball on the floor and let your dog explore at their own pace
• Use a release cue like “search” to start the game, if you are working on training
• Remove the ball once empty to keep it exciting and special for next time

This interactive snuffle ball is a simple way to add mental stimulation to your big dog’s day, without needing a garden, a field or Olympic‑level throwing skills. Just load it, roll it out, and watch that tail do the talking.
